Field Notes: The Travel Kit

Each Field Notes kit contains a curated set of souvenirs. These objects are designed for this moment in time and meant to be revisited long after the final whistle. At its center is an interactive print from the Waiting for the Competition series, unlocking daily puzzle experiences throughout the tournament.

Waiting for the Competition: The Route

Each work represents a World Cup host city. Drawing from its history, character, and cultural rhythm to place it within an American Starting Eleven, these interactive prints evolve over time. They offer new puzzles and points of engagement during this tournament and beyond.

Soccer Watch Night: The Radio

Blending spoken word, chant, and song, Soccer Watch Night is a sonic celebration in the lead-up to kickoff. Rooted in the traditions that shaped American music—work songs, spirituals, blues, jazz, and beyond—it invites listeners to experience the game through rhythm, voice, and story.

The Artist

Soccer Rest Stop is created by multidisciplinary artist Qiana Martin, whose work explores the intersection of sport, culture, and sound by reimagining how the game is experienced on and off the field.
